I. Job Summary:

As a Budtender, you will be the face of our dispensary, responsible for providing exceptional customer service while assisting customers in selecting cannabis products that meet their needs and preferences. You will educate customers on a wide variety of cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and more, ensuring compliance with state and local regulations. Additionally, you will help maintain an organized and welcoming environment that fosters a positive shopping experience.

II. Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Engage with customers to identify their needs and preferences, recommending appropriate cannabis products such as flower, edibles, concentrates, and more.
  • Product Expertise: Stay informed on the various cannabis products, their effects, and responsible consumption practices, educating customers to make safe and knowledgeable choices.
  • Sales and Transactions: Process customer transactions accurately while adhering to all state regulations, including verifying age and identification requirements.
  • Compliance: Follow all local and state laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to store policies.
  • Shop Maintenance: Ensure the dispensary is clean, well-organized, and fully stocked. Assist with inventory management, product restocking, and merchandising.
  • Customer Education: Provide clear and thorough information on the effects and uses of cannabis products to customers, promoting responsible use and safety.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to create a welcoming and knowledgeable environment for all customers.

III. Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of cannabis products, strains, and consumption methods.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry required.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle customer inquiries.
  • Familiarity with state and local cannabis regulations (training will be provided).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

IV. Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in retail or customer service.
  • Passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to help customers.
